Network Perception, a provider of operational technology (OT) solutions situated in Chicago, Illinois, has raised $13M perception 28m series 38mrileysiliconangle in Series A funding.

The Westly Group, with participation from Energy Impact Partners, as well as previous backers Serra Ventures, Okapi Venture Capital, Energy Foundry, and SaaS Venture Capital, led the round, which increased Network Perception’s total capital to $15.73m.

The company plans to use the capital to broaden its commercial activities, meet the vital sectors’ needs for OT network cybersecurity, enter new vertical and global markets, and form strategic alliances to speed up go-to-market growth.

With the aim of enhancing network security and boosting cyber resilience for critical infrastructure companies, Network Perception, led by CEO Harry Giovani, offers a technology platform and products that range in functionality from fundamental network auditing technology to continuous and proactive visualization of OT network vulnerabilities.

The business will introduce the NP-View Essential edition of its platform in the upcoming weeks to give compliance and security teams at both small and enterprise-sized entities quick visualisation and network verification.
