More has to be fixed on TikTok following their strike.

Mya Nicole Johnson, a 15-year-old Black influencer with 675,000 TikTok followers, claims that seven times in the last eight weeks, her account has been stopped from uploading. The first Black student body president at Yale University and social media sensation Kahlil Greene often releases instructional films about the history of oppression in America, yet they are frequently automatically removed for “hate speech” or “harassment.” Erick Louis, the creator, has seen that certain TikTok with Black Lives Matter in the captions get taken down right away.

The cause? Johnson answered, “That’s what I’m trying to figure out.
