Mighty Buildings Raises $40M In Series B Funding

Construction technology business Mighty Buildings 40m series khosla ventures zeno, situated in Oakland, California, raised $40 million in Series B funding.

Bold Capital Partners, Core Innovation Capital, and Fundamental were among the returning investors in the round, which was jointly led by Khosla Ventures and Zeno Ventures. ArcTern Ventures, Abies Ventures, Modern Venture Partners, Giant Ventures, MicroVentures, One Way Ventures, Polyvalent Capital, and other companies were among the new investors.

As a result of the round, Mighty Buildings was also listed among Y Combinator’s Top businesses. The company has received more than $70 million in total capital to date.

Mighty Buildings is a construction technology company run by Slava Solonitsyn, CEO and Co-Founder, that uses automation and cutting-edge new technologies to reduce time and labour hours. The business collaborates with compliance and regulatory organisations to provide products that are tested to exacting standards and produced using almost zero waste processes. The projects range from residential complexes employing their Mighty Kit System for the country’s largest homebuilders to pre-designed auxiliary dwelling units (ADUs) for homeowners.

The money will be used to speed up growth, enlarge the team, scale up manufacturing capacity with more automation, and establish a B2B platform for developers with sustainability at its core.
