Curtsy Raises $11M in Series A Funding

Curtsy, a San Francisco, California-based software that enables women to purchase and sell apparel, footwear, and accessories via their smartphones, has raised curtsy 11m series index in Series A funding.

Index Ventures was the principal investor.

The company plans to use the money to scale, expand its personnel, and keep expanding its market share.

Women can purchase and sell apparel, shoes, and accessories on the Curtsy app, which was created by David Oates, William Ault, Clara Agnes Ault, and Eli Allen. The programme helps merchants package their goods using machine learning and human assessment, and it also gives sellers a Shipping Kit to reduce friction during order fulfilment.

The startup raised $14.5 million so far and took part in Y Combinator.
